Configuring Mapbox

Stage 1

First, login to Mapbox from the landing page. Once you have logged in, click on studio next to your avatar in the top right hand corner.

Stage 2

Your access token (API Access Toekn) can be found on the right hand side of the studio in the section labeled 'Access Token.' Simply copy this token and use paste it into your Mapbox widget.

Copy the token and paste it into the 'API Access Token' field as shown below.

Stage 3

From the styles panel on Mapbox, select the link 'Mapbox Edtior.' This will take you to a new page where you can create your map.

If you do not see the 'Mapbox Editor' link, select 'Classic Styles Page'. From the right hand side of the page, select 'Mapbox Editor'.

Stage 4

Enter your desired address using the search bar built into the MapBox editor. For example, we have searched for 'New York.'

Stage 5

Once you are happy with your location, press save. Your Map ID will then appear, copy this and paste it into the Map ID field inside the Mapbox widget Options panel for the Mapbox widget inside Muse.
