How to Configure the Headliner Widget

Stage 1

First, open up Muse and ensure that you have the  Headliner Widget installed in your Muse library. Next, drag the Headliner widget onto the canvas.

Stage 2

Using the text tool, create a new text box on your canvas. You can customize your text as desired.

Stage 3

Duplicate your text so that you have multiple text boxes. This is important, as this will set the text for the widget to cycle through. Once you have your text laid out on your canvas, select each text box individually and assign a new paragraph style. Ensure that all text boxes have unique paragraph styles and that no paragraph style is assigned to two text boxes.

Stage 4

Inside the widget Options panel, set the number of text boxes you have used and enter the paragraph styles that you have used for each text box into the relevant fields.

Stage 5

Move all of your text boxes into a position so that they overlap each other.

Stage 6

Preview your project in your browser to see the Headliner widget in action.

Completed!

Your widget is now set up and ready to go. You can customize this widget further from the Options panel.
